Custom 3D Shapes

We currently have tooling for almost 2,000 custom hose designs, so chances are if you need one that we already have it. However, if we don’t, our fabrication department and tooling department can have one designed for you fast. We are confident that our custom tooling that we develop will exceed your expectations.

Step Down and Step Up Connectors

When you need to connect your pipe work using different outside diameters, we can supply custom step down and step up connectors to your specifications. Just get in touch with our design team to open up a line of communication about exactly what kind of connectors you need.

Integrated Heat Shields

Sometimes our hoses and tubes are used in applications where they will be around intense heat. Normally, this isn't something silicone would be able to handle while functioning normally, however, with integrated heat shields, our hoses can be placed as close as 10mm to an extreme radiant heat source. Our custom heat shields are integrated into our hoses permanently. To design your integrated heat shield, contact our engineering team for more details.

Oil/Chemical Resistant Liners

In order to resist damage from oil and other chemicals, fluorosilicone or fluorocarbon liners are necessary. We offer both for all of our high performance products. They offer exceptional oil and chemical resistance, great for industries like the auto, marine, and aerospace industries.

Branch (T) Connectors

Branch connectors, or T connectors, are attached to coolant or air systems. Their purpose is to integrate pressure or temperature sensors.

Flanged End Fittings

If you are needing silicone hoses where turbo pressures are extremely high, or where a quick disconnect feature is necessary, then flanged end fittings  will be necessary. Also called integrated V band connections, these "clampless" connections greatly speed up OEM assembly.

Radial and Axial Features

When necessary, we can place a small notch on the hoses to your specifications for accurate positioning with the mating tube. This will have the added affect of speeding up OEM assembly.

Controlled Axial/Radial Flexibility

We can also integrate humps, rings, or other flexibility features to increase both Axial and Radial flexibility.This will improve ease of installation, especially if there are misaligned tube ends.

Material Testing

As of this last year, we have increased our testing capabilities, now including in house material validation and finished goods validation. Available to all of our Flex Tech customers, our new testing services include:

• In House Raw Material Testing Capabilities -- specific gravity, hardness, coolant immersion, oil immersion, tensile strength and elongation at break, tensile strength and elongation, modulus, and tear strength.
• Finished Goods Testing Capabilities -- heat aging, oil immersion, coolant immersion, burst testing (fluid and air), dynamic life cycle testing (simulated turbo and cooling systems).
