Explore Our Silicone Hose Options — From Off-The-Shelf To Customized

Welcome back to the Flex Technologies blog. We are going to answer a few technical questions about silicone hoses. It’s important to note that our engineering department can expand the performance of our standard hoses. If you are in need of hoses or tubing, we can engineer custom hoses for your project.

We will even custom design them for our private label customers. We can infuse your brand to the hose with single or multicolored ink. Your brand will stand out on the most reliable hoses in the business.

“Are silicone hoses compatible with oil and fuel?”

“No, our standard silicone hoses are not suitable for use with oil or fuel. However, we do offer special fluorocarbon and fluoro- silicone liners that offer superior chemical resistance. Please contact our engineering department for more details and support in designing a chemical-resistant product to meet your specific requirements.”

“What is required to build a custom silicone hose?”

“Our Design and Engineering department prefers to receive CAD Drawings or PDF files on all new design work. If drawing or design assistance is required, please contact our Engineering Department for support. In some cases we are also able to work from your "Mock Up" or "Physical Sample". Please contact us or visit the “Custom Hose Products” portion of our site for additional details.”

“Flex Technologies is ISO 9000:2008 Certified. What is ISO 9000 Certification?”

“ISO 9000 Certification is given by the International Organization for Standardization, based on the implementation of specific quality procedures and processes and is maintained by a demonstrated commitment to quality improvement. At the core of ISO 9000 is the principals of customer focus, leadership within the industry and the involvement of employees and management in developing and continuously improving a process approach to rectifying issues.”
